Alloy 630 rod and ASTM A564 type 630 flat bar suppliers in UAE

What is ASTM A564 Type 630 Round Bar?

Round bar with high resistance to stress corrosion cracking at higher ageing temperatures are useful for under-seawater applications. SS 630 round bars made of strong martensitic steel that are PH or precipitation-hardenable quality are in high demand to make boat shafting for freshwater applications.

ASTM A564 TYPE 630 Round Bar is the best stainless steel to comply with specifications of 17% chromium and 4 % nickel. The type 630 or 17-4 PH bar increases hardness and ductility when optimized with age hardening and heating at high temperatures. Also, cathodic protection makes ASTM A564 Type 630 Rod best for many applications in several sectors.

What is the difference between H1150 and HH1150?

17-4 or type 630 is better than conventional steel, like 410, because of its excellent weldability. Also, tempering at high temperatures also improves its characteristics for use in many applications and sectors. Depending on the temperature and time of annealing, the 17-4 bars are the difference between its two formulations, H1150 and HH 1150.

ASTM A564M TYPE 630 Round Bar tempers H1150 and HH150 vary on the number of hours of heating. For H1150 temper, 17-4 bar gets heated at 1400 F + 25 For two hours, air-cooled, then warmed again to 1150 F + 15F and air-cooled. But for HH1150 condition A, material tempering is at 1150 F for four hours, heated for 4 hours at the same temperature, and cooled to have different properties.

Is H1150 annealed?

Yes. It is possible to anneal one of the many formulations of 17-4 PH Alloy 630 Round Bar H1150. Annealing for tempering the precipitated hardened steel increases hardness and hence performance characteristics.

Annealing H1150 of 17-4 PH steel formulation is at specific temperatures to improve the properties. But heating above 900 F causes slight density changes of less than 0.10 %, which is permissible for H1150m of 17-4 PH steel.

What is condition H1150?

ASTM A564 Type 630 Conditioned H1150 is available in the solution annealed condition A. Heating ASTM A564 rods at 1400 F for four hours and air-cooled twice increases its tensile strength and hardness. But it is easy to weld ASTM A564 conditioned tubes to make it ideal for many applications.

17-4 stainless steel bars are made of age-hardening martensitic steel that has high strength, hardness, and excellent corrosion resistance. Its H1150 formulation has the best properties because of the tempering at a high temperature of 1150 F.

What is ASTM A564 Type 630 H1150d heat treatment process?

ASTM A564 Type 630 H1150D Rod heat treatment process is at a high temperature of 1150 F, even above its service temperature. It is to improve its strength, hardness, and corrosion resistance properties.

A564 GR 630 17 4PH Forged Bar undergoes heat treatment to have more hardening quickly. A564 GR 630 Hex Bar is easy for many applications to weld, even after tempering at high temperatures. The H1150 formulation of the A564 Type 630 Flat Bar heat treatment process is also at a high temperature above 1400 F for two to four hours with in-between cooling.
