A CS pipe has moderate corrosion resistance properties and can work well at different temperatures. The content of carbon determines its strength, ductility, and toughness in different environments.

A carbon steel square pipe can be easily welded to subsequent material utilizing standard welding procedures. However, higher the carbon content difficult will be its welding capacity, and its melting point will be lower.

Leak detection techniques in a large diameter carbon steel pipe determines if a leak has occurred in the system.
