Difference between hr coil and cr coil
An hr coil and cr coil can be differentiated primarily on their processing type. A hot rolled coil is manufactured at high temperatures. These coils are easy to form and work with. A cr coil is processed at room temperature as metal is rolled after the hot rolling process. The cr coils have a smooth surface finish and have enhanced strength compared to hr coils. The hot rolled coil price is easy to process and is cheaper than cold rolled coils.

Hot rolled coil production process
A hot rolled coil production process starts with HR coil manufacturers using a rectangular metal billet. The billet is heated and pre-processed into a larger roll. Here it is kept at a high temperature and run through a series of rollers to achieve its finished dimensions. The white hot strands of a hot rolled pickled coil are pushed through these rollers at high speeds and cooled. The steel shrinks as its starts to cool down. The hrc steel price is dependent on the thickness and other material requirements.

Hot rolled coil advantages and uses
A hot rolled coil has a scaled surface with slightly rounded edges. The coils have a lower processing time and are very efficient. These coils are cheaper and are generally normalized, making them free from internal stress that arises due to the work hardening process. The type of and modifications will influence jsw hr coil price.
