Inconel 600 and 625 are superalloys with various nickel and chromium compositions. And in these compositions lies the significant difference between the two. Inconel 600 seamless pipes have higher nickel content of over 72% and high corrosion resistance. Inconel 625 has over 58% nickel.

Inconel 600 pipe has a chromium content range of 14 to 17%, and 625 has a chromium range of 20 to 23%. Inconel 625 has a lower percentage content of Molybdenum, niobium, aluminium and titanium,
which is not present in Inconel 600. Inconel 600 has 6 to 10% iron, which is not in 625.
