The American standard and grades for Alloy Steel Forged bar are ASTM A182/ SA182 Gr.F5, F9, F11, F12, F22, and F91. Other side, alloy steel bar stock ASTM Standard includes ASTM A29/A29M, A322, and A331. Among these ASTM A331 Cold Finished Bars have higher tensile strength between 800-1300 MPa. A331 Bar Stock also known for 200-350 HB Hardness, smooth surface, and tighter tolerances. Most popular grades of Alloy Steel Bars are AISI 4130, 4140, 4340, 6150, 8620, and 52100.
