Sapna Steels designs and manufactures heat-resistant refractory anchors for industrial use, such as in cement plants, blast furnaces, and high-temperature vessels. Their manufacturing plant is located in Mumbai, India, and is equipped with the latest equipment, including multi-head CNC wire bending machines and specialized tooling.
They produce ‘Y’ Anchors, ‘V’ Anchors, and Crook Anchors in 5mm to 12mm diameter. The company can also manufacture bespoke refractory anchors based on customer drawings.
Sapna Steels is also known as the No. 1 stockholder of leading brands like Hanlock refractory anchors. To ensure high-quality products, they procures top-notch raw materials such as round bars, plates, flat bars, and round wire. They provide PMI test reports to verify the quality of their refractory anchors and fasteners. These anchors are suitable for manual welding as well as for Arc Welding.
For welding Inconel refractory anchors, ERNiCr-3 or ERNiCrMo-3 welding wires are recommended. When welding castable anchors via the Rapid Arc Welding method, suitable electrodes include ER70S-6, ER308L/ER309L/ER316L, ERNiCrMo-3, and ER4043/ER5356, depending on the material of the refractory linings.
In April 2023, Sapna Steels supplied anchor stud for an emergency repair work in Germany. They delivered the material in very short span of time which saved the downtime of 5 Days. The production was done in 2 shifts and over 15 welders. The company got an order from Italy for Bright Solution Annealed Refractory Anchors (TWS and TWU). Here they faced the challenge to increase the ductility and reduce the hardness. Sapna Steels produced an extra ordinary size 49.2 Inch Refractory Anchor for nickel mine in Michigan, United States. There are many success stories of Sapna Steels since 1991. In last 33 years Sapna Steels provided Refractory Anchor Solutions to many countries including USA, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, Russia, Italy, Turkey, and Northern Europe.
