What are ASTM A403 WP304 Buttweld Pipe Fittings?
The ASTM A403 WP304 standard covers stainless steel fittings for pressure piping applications. These Buttweld Pipe Fittings use stainless steel and employ operations like hammering, extruding, and fusion welding for the forging.
Sheetal Piping Solutions has been manufacturing ASTM A403 WP304 Buttweld Pipe Fittings since 2021. These products adhere to the desired chemical composition of elements like manganese, phosphorus, and chromium. They may also contain molybdenum and titanium.
Buttweld fittings employ permanent welding between the pipe and the fitting, which makes the connection strong and leak-proof. The inside surface remains smooth and offers good protection from corrosion. These compact fittings get widely used in nuclear plants, oil and gas industries, shipbuilding, marine applications, and power plants.

Manufacturing method & testing of Stainless Steel 304 Elbows, Tee, Reducer and Pipe Cap
Stainless Steel 304 is a popular alloy well suited to adverse conditions like elevated temperatures and the presence of corrosive media. Sheetal Piping Solutions uses industry-leading manufacturing best practices for producing tees, elbows, reducers, and pipe caps.
The standard approach is butt-welding via hot-forming or cold-forming. Forged fittings use open-die or closed-die approaches based on the desired properties like strength, affordability, and microstructure.
Elbows generally get produced via the Mandrel Method or hot-forming. The extrusion method is preferred for small to medium-sized fittings. Depending on customer requirements, welding and die-bending may also be used.
The standard route for manufacturing tees is the hydraulic bulge method where the pipe piece gets placed in a die and the liquid subsequently gets filled inside. Reducers are produced through outer dies or plates. In contrast, deep drawing is the most common for manufacturing pipe caps.
All products go through rigorous testing to confirm their chemical and mechanical properties. The company issues an MTC or a mill test certificate to guarantee product quality. Clients may commission more tests on a case-to-case basis, if needed.
Manufacturer of 90-degree elbows, eccentric reducer, concentric reducer, pipe end caps in grade 304 and 316 stainless steel
What are 90 Degree Elbows, eccentric reducer, concentric reducer, and pipe end caps in Grade 304 and 316 Stainless Steel?
Grade 304 and Grade 316 Stainless Steel are superb choices for manufacturing a variety of industrial fittings. In addition to chromium, nickel, and manganese, Grade 316 also contains molybdenum (minimum 2%) for improved corrosion resistance.
A 90 Degree Elbow in Grade 304 or 316 Stainless Steel changes the direction of the fluid flow by 90 degrees. It is a standard component in connecting hoses to water pumps.
Reducers are integral fittings in process-based pipelines used to reduce the pipe size to adapt to the piping system. A Stainless Steel Concentric Reducer is the most common and can join sections of different diameters. It decreases the diameter of the fitting symmetrically.
On the other hand, an Eccentric Reducer reduces the diameter while maintaining one side horizontally. It cannot align with both sides. Their utility lies in avoiding air accumulation that could cause bubbling and cavitation.
The company also supplies Pipe End Caps made with stainless steel to temporarily seal the end of a hydraulic or pneumatic pipe.
Supplying 304 stainless steel pipe fittings in LNG projects of Libya, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Africa since 2008
Why are 304 Stainless Steel pipe fittings used in LNG Projects?
LNG or liquefied natural gas has multiple residential uses like cooking and heating homes as well as industrial uses in applications like fertilizer plants and commercial vehicles. Stainless Steel 304 is suitable for use with LNG as it is not subject to corrosion in a natural gas environment.
This austenitic alloy has a mid-range amount of carbon. It undergoes treatment with a nonmagnetic solution of ferric carbide to achieve superior corrosion resistance. LNG-based applications require material that can withstand abrasion over time without compromising safety or performance.
Stainless Steel 304 also has good oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures. It can also get machined per customer needs while maintaining strength and weldability.
Also manufacture 316l stainless steel weld fittings in custom sizes as per drawings to suppliers, traders, and importers in middle east countries
What are 316L Stainless Steel Weld Fittings?
Chemical processing and oil refineries employ 316L Stainless Steel Weld Fittings for its brilliant metallurgical properties. It offers smooth welding to other metals and can be moulded into various shapes. This material is highly reliable, corrosion resistant, and offers a long service life.
It also exhibits good tensile strength and protection from pitting and rupture. Customers who demand materials that can withstand higher temperatures find it particularly useful.
A significant utility of 316L lies in applications that require resistance to carbide precipitation brought on by welding. It is an extra-low carbon version of the 316 grade, with the “L” representing “low”. Sheetal Piping Solutions also manufactures these fittings for the food processing sector, medical devices, wastewater treatment plants, and marine applications.
