Slip On Flange

A ring placed over the end of the pipe with a flanges face extending from the pipe end by a distance which is enough for a weld bead on the inside diameter is known as Slip On Flanges. The Slip On Flanges Welding is done on the outer diameter of the flanges. An advantage of the Slip On Pipe Flanges is that it comes at a much lower cost compared to the weld neck flanges and it can be welded easily. The 3 Slip On Flange is known for their low material cost and has easy installation. They can be easily used with type B or type C lap joint flanges. The Slip On Flat Face Flanges comes in a wide range of diameter and low-pressure models. Unlike the weld neck flanges, the Steel Slip On Flanges does not come with a neck to rest on the pipe; thus, double welding is necessary.
Another benefit of the 2 Slip On Flanges is that it does large longitudinal space in the line to be mounted. It do not require an exact cut in the pipe and hence alignment can be done easily.
