Difference between 2d, 2e and ba finish stainless steel coil
A 2d finish stainless steel coil has a refined surface finish that is achieved via a cold rolling process. The coils have a dull silver gray rough finish. The 2e finish in an SS coil is a cold rolled material that is mechanically descaled. The polished stainless steel coil is produced as a material that is bright annealed, giving it a reflective finish. The finish is achieved as the mirror stainless steel coil is cold rolled and subsequently annealed to prevent oxidation.
304 Stainless Steel Coil Advantages
The stainless steel coil 304 is wound soon after the rolling process and can be efficiently transported. A 304 stainless steel coil has superior corrosion resistance properties and tolerance to reducing affluents in toxic media. The coils can be easily cut and easily sheared in sheets, strips, and other materials. The maintenance of cleaning stainless steel CR coil is simple and easy. The coils are available at reasonable prices and have a long service life.

Difference between hot rolled and stainless steel cold rolled coils
Hot rolled and cold rolled steel is differentiated primarily on their processing. A hot rolled stainless steel coil is manufactured at elevated temperatures, enabling them to be shaped easily in desired dimensions. The cold rolled stainless steel coil is produced at room temperature after finishing the hot rolling process. Here the coils are subjected to various tests and screening procedures.
A stainless steel cold rolled coil has an excellent surface finish and has enhanced tolerance compared to a hot rolled coil. The cold rolled coils have higher precision compared to a stainless steel hot rolled coil. The hot rolled coils have lower costs and better workability than cold rolled steel coils. The higher strength of the cold rolled stainless steel coil comes with greater internal stress.

Which test is non destructive test of SS coil?
A non destructive test of SS coils helps detect any in the material. Generally, an Eddy Current test is performed on a stainless steel HR coil to test for any defects in the coil. Ultrasonic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and radiography are other non destructive tests performed by stainless steel coil manufacturers.
