Weld Neck Flange

A tapered hub or high-hub flanges is a type of flange that helps in the stress relocation to the pipes. The Weld Neck Flanges ensures that there is a decrease in concentration at the bottom of the flanges. There are two types of Wn Flange designs- while one is used with a wipe, the other is a longer one which cannot be used with a pipe but with a process plant. The Weldneck Flanges comes with a round fitting which extends beyond the rim of the circumference. They are actually manufactured from forgings that are welded to the pipes. The rim has several holes drilled into it which enables the Weld Neck Pipe Flanges to get attached to the bolted flanges. There are long 12 Weld Neck Flanges which looks very typical but comes with an elongated neck. The reducing Weld Flange Types have a reducing diameter so that it can weld to smaller diameter pipes quite easily.
