Hastelloy B2 is a solution-strengthened solid alloy steel grade. The Hastelloy B2 Plate is designed with a chemical content of nickel, molybdenum, chromium, copper, and other alloys. This gives the DIN 2.4617 Hot Rolled Plate excellent resistance to stress and general corrosion. These plates are tolerant to pitting by chloride or phosphoric acids. The robust Hastelloy Alloy B2 Cold Rolled Plate is resistant to hydrochloric acids in different temperatures.

The plates can be solution treated and rapidly quenched in normal conditions, giving them superior hardness. The UNS N10665 Clad Plate can be welded easily as it resists the formation of grain-boundary in the heat-affected zone. The Nickel Alloy B2 Plate is seen in chemical process systems, pharmaceuticals, mechanical seals, fittings, vacuum furnaces, etc.
